By car...
If you are arriving by car, the closest motorway exit is no. 52. From here, take Assensvej, continue on Fåborgvej and Sdr. Boulevard towards downtown Odense. Drive straight ahead till you come to the Zoo on your right. Park the car just before the main entrance by turning left on Gustav Johannsens Vej.

By public transit...
Bus lines 11, 12, 31 and S3 (towards Dyrup) bring you to the Zoo.

By boat..... In peak season, you can ride a boat to the Zoo departing from Munkemose in downtown Odense. This is quite an unusual, beautiful experience. The Zoo and Åfarten, which provides the boat service, have a special arrangement whereby you pay for the boat trip and Zoo admission at the same time on board the boat.

Persons with a Disability
 Odense Zoo has wheelchair-friendly paths in most places and lavatories for persons with a disability. The various restaurants also accommodate visitors in wheelchairs.

Smoking
Although smoking is permitted outdoors at the Zoo, smoking is not allowed in any stables or buildings out of regard for the animals and because of the fire hazard.

Our Youngest Visitors
One our most treasured target groups at the zoological gardens are children, and we are ready to welcome the youngest of them all.
If you don’t bring your own stroller, we have good handcarts for hire at DKK 20.00 each. They can easily hold a couple of toddlers and your picnic basket!
Baby changing facilities are found in the men’s and women’s lavatories alike.
