The restaurant Kathmandu offers light dishes, pastries, draught beer, soft drinks, juice, coffee, tea, cocoa and more at ordinary café prices.

Kathmandu is located by the playground, so if you are with children, this is an ideal spot to eat your lunch or have a cup of coffee and a pastry while the kids are playing.

Café Darwin is situated near the main entrance overlooking Odense Stream. The café is open during the peak season and has a lovely view from the terrace. The menu offers light dishes such as fresh-buttered sandwiches or salad.

On every Thursday in July the Zoo extends its opening hours to 10pm and lights the barbecue grill.

You can buy a barbecue picnic basket with all the ingredients for a pleasant evening.
