4. April – 18 October: ZOO Train
If you need to rest your legs, take the ZOO Train. It drives around in the Zoo every weekend, public holidays and in Denmark’s school holidays. Each trip lasts about 10 minutes.

4. April - 18 October: Feel, guess and learn about animals
You can hear and see guides tell interesting stories about animals every weekend, on public holidays and during Denmark’s school holidays. You get to touch a lion – or the skin of one, at least. Keep your eyes peeled for the info-cart or meet the guides on the ZOO Stage.  

Wednesdays 1 July – 5 August: Go for a boat ride with the animals on Odense River
Go for a boat ride with a guide on Odense River. Hear lots of stories from the animal kingdom – both about the Zoo’s animals and those living in and along the river. Included on board will be animal furs, skins, skulls and bones.
 
Thursdays 2 July – 6 August: Summer evenings at the Zoo
Enjoy a pleasant summer evening at the Zoo and see how some of the animals settle down for the night, as the nocturnal animals begin to stir. The barbecue will be lit and you can order the evening’s barbecue buffet.
