Boa constrictor
The boa constrictor is one of the most common – and most beautiful – of the boas.
They primarily live on the ground where they catch small mammals such as mice and rats. For this reason some farmers keep boa constrictors as pets to help reduce the nuisance of mice and rats. The boa constrictor is not dangerous to people.
